Love on Valentines Day
by Don Riley | February 12, 2010
This concept of Valentines Day raises one question,
“How can we love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul,
and with all our strength” and not lose our first love on Valentines
Day?
Heard a report today that in Tokyo, the average Japanese spends $200.00 plus just on chocolates for Valentines.

The report did not specify what constitutes average so I question the numbers.
Today, I spent time in a card shop looking for just the right card….……know the feeling?
When you find the perfect person who makes you smile, who loves nature, parks, and walking the dog how much better does it get?
When driving down the street, you can laugh over who
is correct about the speed limits even as you face together the speed
bumps of life.
It is so easy to get so caught up in courtship, marriage, human love that we often lose sight of our first love.
So perhaps on this Valentines weekend when we focus on
those we love, let us spend time with the Lord and tell Him how much we
love Him with our heart, our soul, and our strength.
Love on Valentines Day.
